These topics just get tougher and tougher....today's is "
Your favorite book or author". I really don't think I can chose just one. I do have books that I read and re-read, ones the never lose the newness.
James Michener's
Centennial
is one of those. I think I have read it four times and will get it on my Kindle next time around, if it's available.
Hawaii
,
Texas
and
Alaska
are right up there, too.
Diana Gabaldon's
Outlander
series is another multiple read...I have bought the paperbacks twice now. Now I need to get them on the Kindle. There are actually two books that I haven't read yet...these are so good that men love them, too.
Robert Heinlein's
Time Enough for Love
is one I haven't read since around 1990 but I will again. Not on the Kindle though...sigh...but I have always loved his sci-fi books.
Toss in some good fantasy like the
Hobbit
and
Lord of the Rings
, cap it off with more fantasy by George R.R. Martin and Robert Jordan....what a feast for the imagination.
But lately I've been on a serial killer kick...reading anything I can by
Lisa Gardner
, James Patterson's
Alex Cross series
,
Lisa Jackson
and
Catherine Coulter
.
My latest in Kindle reading is the
Donovan Creed books
by John Locke...talk about an anti-hero! I've never rooted for the killer before...but I'm hooked.
In between times I enjoy trashy romance novels....imagine that!
Happily hopping through life,
Donna
You'll root for the killer if you read Tim Dorsey's Florida based books featuring Serge Storm! They are a hoot. And since you have some Florida ties, you'll love them all.
